EdgeSwap has high security. First of all, it is a Rollup-based layer-2 system that can opt for Data Availability (https://ethfans.org/posts/what-is-data-availability-by-Mustafa).
Secondly, EdgeSwap supports the availability of block data. When layer 2 is working normally, transaction information is put on the chain by calling the contract on the chain. Upon failure of the layer 2, the "Ark Mode" starts (
emergency withdrawal). In this mode, the tools provided by the system can be used to retrieve the funds from layer 2, which also fulfills the promise of "funds are as safe as in layer 1".
